Visit to SHMYO by Vice Rectors

Vice Rectors of Bartın University, Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz Karaismailoğlu, visited the University’s School of Health Services (SHMYO) to evaluate preparations for the new academic year and discuss planned activities.

During the visit, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan, who is responsible for the School of Health Services, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz Karaismailoğlu were welcomed by SHMYO Director Prof. Dr. Özge Özgür and Deputy Director Lecturer Elif Yatgın.

Director of the Vocational School Prof. Dr. Ramazan Aslan and members of the Vocational School administration also attended the visit.

As part of the visit, the readiness of the School building for the new academic year was assessed on site, while needs related to improving educational facilities and technological infrastructure were evaluated. The parking problem and possible solutions were also discussed, with an exchange of views on providing students and staff with a more qualified and functional educational environment.

The meeting also addressed proposals for new programs integrating artificial intelligence in line with digital transformation in higher education and current professional requirements. Discussions focused on potential initiatives to develop innovative and employment-oriented programs that closely follow technological developments in the field of healthcare.

SHMYO Director Prof. Dr. Özge Özgür thanked Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Zafer Ceylan and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cengiz Karaismailoğlu for their kind visit, their assessments regarding the School’s current needs, and their support for its development.

The visit concluded with the exchange of views followed by a commemorative group photograph.
