Orientation Training Held for New Students at SHMYO
Orientation training sessions were held for students who newly joined Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) in the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
The training sessions, held on September 21, 2026, aimed to support students’ adaptation to university life and the School, provide them with information about academic and administrative procedures, and help them become more familiar with the programs in which they will pursue their studies.
Students enrolled in the Child Development, Care and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, Home Patient Care, Physiotherapy, First and Emergency Aid, Opticianry, Hair Care and Beauty Services, Tele-Health Technician, Medical Documentation and Secretarial Services, Medical Promotion and Marketing, and Elderly Care programs participated in orientation sessions organized specifically for their respective programs.
During the sessions, students were informed about the academic and administrative structure of the School, course and examination procedures, student rights and responsibilities, the academic advising system, campus facilities, and the social, cultural, and academic opportunities offered by the University. In addition, the functioning of the programs and various issues that students may need throughout their academic journey were discussed, and their questions were answered.
Organized with the understanding of “Let’s Get to Know, Let’s Learn, Let’s Succeed Together, Let’s Prepare for the Future,” the orientation sessions aimed to help students adapt to the SHMYO community and make a conscious, confident, and strong start to their academic lives.
As Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services, we welcome all our new students to our community and wish them a successful and productive academic year.
