Hospital Information Management Processes and Patient Admission Training Conducted

The Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program of Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services organized a training event titled “Hospital Information Management Processes and Patient Admission” for students.

The event, held on April 30, 2026, at Ağdacı Conference Hall, featured Meddata Training Manager Serkan Baştuğ as the speaker.

The training covered the functioning of hospital information management systems, patient admission procedures, digital health applications, and the importance of information management in healthcare institutions. Students had the opportunity to gain detailed knowledge about sector-oriented practices supporting their theoretical education.

During the highly attended event, students also had the chance to receive direct information from an expert in the field and ask questions about topics they were curious about.

This training aimed to improve students’ professional knowledge and skills, familiarize them more closely with sector practices, and better prepare them for professional life after graduation.

At the end of the event, our Vocational School Director, Prof. Dr. Özge Özgür, presented a certificate of appreciation to Meddata Training Manager Serkan Baştuğ for his valuable contributions and informative presentation.
