First Aid Training Conducted Within the Scope of NİYEP
Training activities organized under the Qualified Workforce Training Program (NİYEP), implemented through the cooperation of İŞKUR and Bartın University, continue successfully. As part of the program, which aims to train the qualified workforce needed by the labor market, participants received first aid training.
The training was delivered by Erhan Şeker, Lecturer in the First and Emergency Aid Program at the Health Services Vocational School of Bartın University. Within the scope of the program, participants were provided with both theoretical and practical knowledge on basic first aid practices, appropriate intervention methods in emergencies, the chain of survival, basic life support, and first aid procedures for bleeding, fractures, dislocations, and choking incidents.
During the training, the importance of conscious and appropriate intervention in emergency health situations that may occur in both professional and daily life was emphasized. Particular attention was drawn to the life-saving role of correct actions taken during the first critical minutes following an emergency. Participants also had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge through hands-on practical exercises.
The training programs conducted within the scope of NİYEP aim not only to improve professional competencies but also to increase awareness among employees and job candidates regarding essential health and safety issues.
At the end of the program, participants expressed that the training had made a significant contribution to their preparedness for emergencies they may encounter both in the workplace and in everyday life. They also thanked everyone involved in organizing the program. Thus, another important step was taken toward equipping the labor market with more competent, informed, and qualified individuals through the NİYEP initiative carried out in cooperation between İŞKUR and Bartın University.
