Department Chairs’ Meeting Held
The department chairs of our School convened in the Director’s Office on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., under the chairmanship of our School Director, Prof. Dr. Özge ÖZGÜR.
During the meeting, discussions focused on reviewing curricula in line with evolving approaches to higher education, program competencies, learning outcomes, and students’ professional development needs.
The department chairs evaluated the current status of their respective programs and discussed concrete recommendations for improvement to make curricula more effective, up-to-date, and student-centered. They also exchanged views on establishing a sustainable educational framework that would support students’ professional development.
The meeting further addressed the duration and hours allocated to workplace training, which plays an important role in enabling students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge in practical settings and gain professional experience. Views and recommendations were shared on planning workplace training in accordance with the specific characteristics of each program and its professional requirements.
The meeting concluded with the consideration of evaluations and recommendations, as well as the determination of the next steps and the roadmap to be followed.
