Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services Contributes to Awareness on “The Digital World and Children"
Lecturer Arzu TAZEGÜN ÖZSEZGİN from Bartın University Vocational School of Health Services delivered a seminar titled “The Digital World and Children” as part of a family education program organized by Ağdacı Kindergarten on June 11, 2026.
During the seminar, current scientific information was shared on children’s interaction with digital technologies, the developmental effects of screen use, digital parenting approaches, safe internet use, and the development of healthy technology habits. In addition, the roles and responsibilities of parents in managing their children’s digital media use were discussed, and practical recommendations were provided to families.
Participants’ questions were answered throughout the event, and the importance of parental guidance in helping children navigate the digital world safely and consciously was emphasized.
At the end of the seminar, a plaque and a certificate of appreciation were presented to Lecturer Arzu TAZEGÜN ÖZSEZGİN by the Directorate of Ağdacı Kindergarten in recognition of her valuable contributions.
As Bartın University, we will continue to support the sharing of scientific knowledge and awareness-raising activities aimed at improving the quality of life of individuals and families within the scope of our community engagement and social contribution initiatives.
