Ağdacı Sports Festival Held with High Participation
The Ağdacı Sports Festival 2026, organized by the Social, Cultural, and Sports Activities Planning Commission of our Vocational School, witnessed great excitement.
Football and volleyball tournaments were held between May 4–8, 2026, with high participation from students of Bartın University Faculty of Forestry, Faculty of Health Sciences, Bartın Vocational School, and Vocational School of Health Services.
The volleyball tournament was held with the participation of five teams. Following elimination rounds, semifinals, and finals, the team named Şöhretler, led by Lecturer Veli Koca from Bartın Vocational School, won the championship.
The football tournament featured 13 teams. After highly competitive first-round, quarterfinal, semifinal, and final matches, the Valentis FC team, managed by Lecturer Dr. Furkan Şahinbaş and consisting of 8 students from the Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program and 3 students from the Home Patient Care Program, became the champion.
Closely followed by our Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Özge Özgür, the Ağdacı Sports Festival contributed to students’ socialization, enjoyment, and recreational engagement.
